Birds eat insects at the beginning of the season, and seeds at the end of the summer period. Therefore the flower meadow should not be cut before the end of winter. When the flowers begin to fade, the mixture will become a food reserve that will provide birds such as goldfinches, linnets and sparrows with the resources they need to survive the winter.
We recommend re-sowing this mix every year in spring to maintain floral diversity.
Our packaging is made from FSC recycled cardboard and environmentally friendly inks. The seed bags are waxed paper or compostable starch to keep seeds in the best condition during storage.
