They are composed of an aluminum alloy body and premium cassette cover coated with an epoxy from with galvanised wrists to ensure that the awning is strong, hardwearing and rust resistant. The fabric used to construct the shade cover part of the awning is made from a high-quality, UV coated, premium polyester (300gsm) and is water resistant. The UV-coated fabric helps prevent fade from sun exposure, keeping your awning looking new. The shade is finished at the front with a beautiful fabric valance in a scallop design which gives the Aurora awnings a lovely finished flourish. These awnings require little maintenance and are easily wipe cleaned.
Operating Mechanisms: Manual and Automatic
The manual Aurora awnings use a steel crank system opening mechanism. The crank mechanism is operated by simply using the long handle provided to open, partially open and to close. Easy to use as you simply twist the long handle to open or close. There’s no stretching or using ladders to operate. The automatic Aurora range comes with an even handier remote control for an instant open and close touch.
