Stephen Behan, our charismatic commercial sales representative, followed up with an online enquiry about the new Parisian bistro stock that had just landed on the OutdoorLiving.ie website in February 2024. Little did we know that Julien, the French owner of La Crêperie was just around the corner in Greystones, County Wicklow.

Julien had a very specific look and style in mind to upgrade the outdoor seating area of his seafront premises. He discovered our Rennes Parisian Bistro Chair through an online search and was very pleased with the competitive price.

After a few phone calls and emails to discuss colours and styles, Stephen and Julien reached an agreement on what would suit this idyllic setting. Keen to see the furniture before placing the order, Julien and his partner Alison visited the showroom and met with Stephen to view the options. There was limited stock from the first delivery of this chic range of bistro style furniture so inventory levels were held to ensure La Crêperie could have the best range of options.

Rennes Parisian Bistro Chair and Sinter Round Table

Upon inspection, there were concerns about the glass tabletop of the matching Rennes Parisian bistro table being placed within a busy outdoor area. This was quickly addressed with a more durable option which in no way altered the aesthetic of Julien's vision. The Round Sinter Table with cast iron base, a classically designed bistro table complete with sintered stone tabletop and bronze stainless steel wraparound solved the problem. Perfectly matched, the bistro chair and 60cm table were made for each other.

The opportunity to fit out a French Crêperie with Parisian style furniture could not go unmissed with the OutdoorLiving.ie marketing team. Shortly after the furniture arrived, they took the short five minute drive to Greystones harbour to take some photographic shots of the outdoor space. The blue and white striped awning along with the rustic charm of the shopfront perfectly offset the now sleek and stylish seating. A perfectly picturesque setting to enjoy a café au lait by the sea.
