A Small Part in an Incredible DIY SOS Build

DIY SOS returned to RTÉ on Sunday night, kicking off with a huge build for Ramona and Oran.

Ramona’s husband, Daragh, sadly passed away suddenly last December, while they were in the middle of building their forever home. What followed was an incredible community effort to help finish the home and create a space for Ramona and Oran to begin making new memories together.

We were delighted to be part of this season of DIY SOS on RTÉ and to play a small part in Ramona and Oran’s incredible home transformation.

We were very happy to provide the Garden Furniture and Outdoor Kitchen BBQ for their new outdoor space, but we also had the opportunity to spend a day on site in the garden, helping with the plans and lending a hand wherever we could.

It was amazing to see so many people, tradespeople, volunteers and local businesses come together, all giving their time and skills to help bring this huge project over the line for Ramona and Oran.

What really stood out to us was that this wasn’t simply about creating a beautiful garden. It was about creating somewhere for Ramona and Oran to enjoy together, a place to sit, relax, spend time with family and friends, and make memories for years to come.

Having seen the vision for the space come together first-hand, it was really special to watch the finished home on DIY SOS and see how everything came together for Ramona and Oran.

We loved being involved in such a meaningful project and feel very lucky to have played a small part in it. It was a privilege to be there, get stuck in and be part of such a brilliant community effort.

A huge well done to everyone who gave their time, energy and skills to make this happen.

We wish Ramona and Oran many happy memories in their new home
