OutdoorLiving.ie Goes All In for Movember
The team at OutdoorLiving.ie threw their support behind Movember this year, taking on moustache-growing and activity challenges to raise funds and awareness for men’s health. Movember focuses on mental health, suicide prevention, and support for prostate and testicular cancers, and the team was eager to make a meaningful contribution.

The group set up their very own ‘Stache the Cash’ Movember team page and committed to the month-long effort. Staff grew moustaches, logged walks and runs, and encouraged each other to keep the momentum going. The moustaches came in all stages of development - some solid, some ambitious and some still finding their way! Team members like Colette, Hayley and Jack clocked up kilometres throughout November, helping drive fundraising and visibility for the cause.
The idea started with supervisor Nathan Tobin, whose suggestion quickly turned into a full team effort. Having shaved down on 1st November there were definitely some regular moustache growth comparisons across the month with the male members of staff!

The OutdoorLiving.ie team have currently raised just over €1,400, moving close to their €1,500 target and almost tripling their original goal. With a generous contribution from the company on the way, this means that team ‘Stache the Cash’ have reached their triple target goal! A strong outcome for a small team with some mighty moustaches working together for an important cause.

Movember continues to be an accessible way for workplaces to open conversations about men’s health while raising money for research and support programmes. The OutdoorLiving.ie team were proud to play their part.
